| Compliments of Atle Rønning and his sister, here are pictures of the King's Highway Wayhouse taken in summer and fall 2006. This is a very old structure. Click here to learn more about this building and its role in Norway travel years ago and see my picture of it taken in 1968. This building is on the Garsjøen Farm just across from the Main Building. Peder Olsen Sejerstad born 1823 & his wife, Petrine Andersd. Garsjø were the last hosts/owners of the station on the King's Highway before it closed about 1900. Peder born 1823 & Petrine are Atle's grandfather's grandparents. Kristian Pedersen Garsjø born 1873 and his wife, Marie were the parents of Martin Garsjø whom I met in 1968. Peder Olsen Sejerstad and his wife, Petrine Andersd. lived in the same house as did Martin Garsjø. Martin died in 1993. To continue the tour, click here to see pictures of Hurdal Church.
