Note: We have as yet no known descendants of the third child, Wilhelmine Ziske born 23 Oct 1820.

Note: this third child, Wilhelmine Ziske, found recently born in Gross Kotten in 1820, moves us closer to the likely birth location for brothers, Gottlieb Zieske born 1813 and Michael Zieske born 1816. Gross Kotten is very possibly the birth location for all three children. The mother of these children, Anna Christina Verckow, is a daughter of parents who were married in Gross Kotten on 10 Feb 1777. This is verfied with church marriage record. Additionally, Anna Christina's death record lists her parents as Paul Vercho & Anna Christina geb Kelm. 

Note: this page reflects that the village of Gross Kotten is located in a number of different jurisdicions. This is accurate. The village likely did not move. But, political jurisdictions and who was in control of the area changed frequently.
