| Hattie and John were married on 10 July 1884 at Clarissa, Eagle Valley township, Todd County, MN.. Born 28 Apr 1864, he was just under age 20; born 15 May 1860, Hattie was just under age 24. Notice the change on the certificate, very likely at origin. It was originally listed as being for the County of McLeod, then changed to Todd, the location of the marriage. From other information we know that both Michael and Hattie were at one time in McLeod County, MN, and probably not long before this marriage. At the time of the marriage, Hattie's sister and husband was living in Todd County. This wedding was in Todd County.
