This is Immanuel Lutheran Church. It is not the only church in and around the community but the community is predominantly Lutheran. We are just past the entrance to Woodland Park, which is on your left, and we are at the intersection of main street (5th Avenue) and Elm Street, looking northeast.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the West Beef River Lutheran Church congregations merged about forty years ago or so. This brick structure won out over the wood structured "white" church for the new merged congregation location but the St. Paul pipe organ, being more modern at the time, prevailed. The cemetery for this church is southeast of town at the site of the original church. Both the old St. Paul and old West Beef River cemeteries function yet today for the combined church.
