| We are at the intersection of U. S. Highway 10 (runs left and right in this picture) and County Road D, having reached this point from the right. You are looking toward downtown Strum. Crystal Lake and the bridge are just ahead. Tri-County Telephone Company office is on the right and across the highway. The site of St. Paul's Lutheran Church is across U. S. 10 and left, only the cemetery remains where you see the flag. A convenience store and gas station is on the near right (you can't see it). Where the convenience store is was the site of the Standard Oil Station for years......the station owned and operated by my uncle Erling Nymo. |
