In 1960, John F. Kennedy toured West Central Wisconsin enroute to becoming the 35th President of the United States of America in the General Election of that year. Less than four years later, on 22 November 1963, he was shot to death by an Assassin. Subsequent to his visit, Dan Bergerson was injured in an automobile accident. Senator Robert F. Kennedy and then more recently, his brother, Senator Edward Kennedy sent him words of encouragement and thanks.

These pictures of the letters provided by Dan Bergerson, the addressee.
