| Here is an accounting record for Norseville School, school year 1934-35. This is provided compliments of Gary & Corrine Hanson. These records are seventy-five plus years old. Accounting records from those days were kept on long horizontal sheets of paper, or, in books with similar layout . They had no idea that some day we would be posting these records to the Internet. I will post the material side by side as best I can for readability and viewing. Perhaps your computer has a zoom option. These records are interesting. Note the school funding sources and that they include revenue from both Unity and Clear Creek Townships. This is evidence of students being from both townships but with Clear Creek being the dominant.The teacher, Selma Hanson, is paid $66.50 month, for eight months.
