| Top: Golf at Strum's Viking Skyline 9-Hole Golf Course. Some years ago when the course was converted from sand to grass greens, in recognition during a tournament, the first 9 holes were played on sand greens and the 2nd 9 holes on the new grass greens. This course is along U. S. Highway 10 on the east side. Restaurant and banquet facilities and a very popular softball field round out this recreation area. Lower Left: Here is the entrance to Crystal Lake Park. With campgrounds and RV services, this county park is located on the east end of Crystal Lake, adjacent to the golf course. Bicycle enthusiasts also speak well of this park. Lower Right: Spangberg Field, as it is called today, is the site of area semi-pro baseball. Named after a Strum resident, this is now the site of Beef River Bullfrogs Baseball. This recreation area is located in the heart of Strum on the southeast side. |
