| We are looking (above) at the entrance to St. Paul's Cemetery of Strum. This cemetery and former location of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, parallel on the south side along U. S. Highway 10. The Village of Strum downtown and main residential area is to the right of this picture and across the lake. Below we see the Nelson family marker. This marker is for the parents and infant younger sister of Mable Nelson Thompson'. "Our Mom went with us in her wheelchair and although her vision is very poor, from memory she was able to tell us where the grave of her parents is located. The marker faces in the opposite direction of practically every other marker. We learned that her brother Floyd wanted it that way so it would be easier to find."
