Their Ship: The ATALANTA
Hans Moltzau and his wife, Mathea Rosrud, with their 5 young children (Marie, Martha, Paul H., Gunhilda, Anna), left their family farm in Hurdal, Norway and traveled to Christiana (Oslo)...where they boarded the sailing
ship ATALANTA
on April 20, 1867 and arrived May 29, 1867 at the port of Quebec, Canada.

The ATALANTA was built in 1852, in Norrkoping, Sweden, by the shipyard Heggblad Hammarsten.  Earlier it had comicile in Germany.  It was owned by Roed in Tonsberg from 1859 until 1893.
