In the background can be seen the soon to be completed Colpits home which was built by Hans Willumson and still stands at 205 Elm St. The white house barely visible over the roof of the implement shed is the Carl Frodahl home. It was later moved to the entrance to the park and was torn down just a few years ago. The Temperance Hall can be seen in the background at the right. This picture was probably taken about 1895. It is probably the oldest multi-building picture of our town. |
