Notes for PETTER GULBRANDSEN SLÅTTBRÅTEN: Hurdal Bygdebok 1958 page 46 relates the marriage to Hilda. They had the Ringen farm from 1906-30. They got it from his parents, Gulbrand Olsen & Maria Kristofersdatter. Children of HILDA RINGEN and PETTER SLÅTTBRÅTEN are: i. JOHAN5 PETTERSEN, b. 1895. He married KLARA ALFREDSDATTER RØTTERUD. She was born 1894. Johan & Klara got the Slåttbråten farm from his parents, Petter Gulbrandsen & Hilda Olsdatter Ringen, in 1930. Children: Petter. ii. HANS PETTERSEN, m. RAGNHILD FRODALEN. Notes for HANS PETTERSEN: Bought a small part of Slåttbråten and built his home there. Notes for RAGNHILD FRODALEN: Per Jens Bjørseth, we don't know which Frodalen (family) Ragnhild is of. Fred Matson comment: Her name, Ragnhild, is curious. While we do not yet know which Frodalen family she is of, this name is the same as the wife (Ragnhild Juulsdatter) of Ole Hansen, brother of Birthe Hansdatter Osvolden christened August 4, 1805 in Østre Toten. Ragnhild Frodalen's great grandmother is Birthe Hansdatter Osvolden. During my search for the birth of Ragnhild Juulsdatter, ultimately ending in Nord Aurdal, not a single child in Østre Toten was named Ragnhild. I was told the name was not typical of the area and pointed to Aurdal. Ragnhild Juulsdatter migrated to Østre Toten and there married Ole Hansen Osvolden in Hof Parish on August 31, 1832.
